A lot of bloggers feel overwhelmed getting things organized on their sites from design to technical tweaking. But, “What one thing has to be handled this year?” is a good question to ask yourself.

It’s like the excitement of Christmas morning, or a new baby’s cry, or the smell of a new car: a new blog in the world. Today five new blogs were born at the second-ever Blogshop at the Santa Fe Complex.

“As a beginner blogger, the blogshop helped me to get my website chosen and set up. I am learning from those who have been blogging for a while, things like making sure you post regularly, and how to get your domain set up easily and cheaply. I am ready to go! Thanks, Melissa!”

It’s taken years to coordinate the design, marketing, writing and technical skills for Blogshop, and yet, only a few weeks to launch this new endeavor. Tonight I am finalizing the color palette, the WordPress theme, the pages and overall content of the site.
